NEET Online Application 2022 – National Eligibility Entrance Test (UG)

National Testing Agency (NTA) of India is going to conduct the NEET (UG) 2022 Examination for the admission into MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BSMS, BUMS and BHMS Courses. The NEET (UG) Examination is being conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) since 2019 with the approval of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare and the Ministry of Human Resource Development. NEET UG 2022 will be conducted on 17th July 2022. Eligible and interested candidates can apply online from 6th April 2022.

National Eligibility Entrance Test UG ( NEET UG) is a national level medical entrance  exa,m conducted by NTA. NEET UG is conducted every year for admisson into MBBS/BDS/ AND AYUSH Courses in various government and private medical colleges across the country. The admission is offered in the top Medical institutions like AIIMS, JIMER , AFMC and various other renowned government / private medical colleges.

a) Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine & Surgery (BAMS )

d) Bachelor of Siddha Medicine & Surgery (BSMS)
e) Bachelor of Unani Medicine & Surgery (BUMS)
f) Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS)

Date of Exam - 
17th July 2022 (Sunday)

Duration of Exam - 200 Minutes (3 hours 20 Minutes)

Timing of Exam - 02:00 PM to 05:20 PM

Mode of Exam - Offline

Educational Qualification - The candidate must have passed in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English individually and must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Bio-technology at the 10+2 examination. In respect of the candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, PWBD, or Other Backward Classes (NCL), the minimum marks obtained in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Biotechnology are taken together in the 10+2 examination shall be 40% marks instead of 50% marks for Unreserved and General-EWS Candidates.

10+2 Appearing Students - Candidates who are appearing at the 10+2 Examination with English, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as the main subject and expect to pass the Examination with the required of marks are also eligible to apply and appear in the Competitive Entrance Examination. However, their candidature will be considered only if they provide documentary evidence of having passed the 10+2 Examination with the required subjects and percentage of marks.

Nationality - Citizens belonging to the following nationalities are eligible to apply for NEET (UG).
Indian Nationals.

a) Non-Resident Indians (NRIs).
b) Overseas Citizen of India (OCI).
c) Persons with Indian Origin (PIO).
d) Foreign Nationals.

Age Limit -  Candidate has completed 17 years of age at the time of admission or will complete that age on or before 31st December 2022 can apply for NEET UG 2022.

NEET 2022 Application Fee -

For General Category - Rs. 1600

General  (EWS) , OBC (NCL ) - Rs. 1500

SC/ST/PwBD/Third Gender - Rs. 900

Outside India - Rs. 8500

NEET 2022 Exam Pattern 


Mode of Paper -  The NEET 2022 paper will be held in offline – Pen and paper mode.
Language -  Paper will be available in various languages – English, Hindi, Gujarati, Bengali, Tamil, Marathi, Odia, Assamese, Telugu, Urdu and Kannada.

Time Duration -  3 hours will be given to complete the paper.

Type of Questions - The paper will have objective type of questions.

Number of Questions - There will be total of 180 questions in the paper.

Total Marks - The exam will be of total 720 marks.

Marking Scheme - 4 marks will be given for each correct answer. For each incorrect answer, 1 mark will be deducted.

How to Apply for NEET-UG 2022

Eligible Candidates can register from the official website i,e neet.nta.nic.in by following below given steps -

Step 1 - Visit the official website of NEET i,e neet.nta.ac.in.

Step 2 - Click on ‘Proceed to apply online for NEET (UG) 2022’.

Step 3 - Enter the credentials details (name, phone no., other details).

Step 3 - After adding the phone no. you will receive a six-digit OTP.

Step 4 - Enter the OTP and submit the registration form.

Step 5 - A provisional NEET application number will be generated which needs to be preserved till the admission process is over.

Step 6 - Pay the application fee online and download the form for future reference.
